*How do I receive my "Free Week?"
As soon as you create a Front Desk Account, your free week begins. If you create an account and are unable to attend any classes during your free week, please contact Alethia Fauntleroy at email@example.com to receive a free class.
You will be prompted to sign a Liability Waiver via email. Please do this prior to attending your first class.
*What should I bring to class?
*What if my baby is fussy?
Our first priority is the happiness of your baby. If your child is crying at Stroller Strides, know that you aren't alone. From time to time all of the children get restless during class. You are also welcome to bring toys, coloring books, books, or snacks for your kiddo.
Because we stop in regular intervals for body toning, you can always catch up with us if you fall behind. Our instructors will do their very best to make class enjoyable.
Remember, this is an atmosphere where children are WELCOME (even crying children)! We all understand that from time to time, they have bad days.
*Will I be running? What kind of stroller is best?
Stroller Strides® is a power-walking class but some members may choose to jog or run. Choose a stroller that is sturdy and make sure it is one that you are comfortable using on different types of surfaces.
*What if my child wants to get out of the stroller?
We know your kids often want to get out of the stroller and join in the class, but we encourage you to keep your children in the stroller for the duration of class. Their safety is our biggest priority!
If you really enjoy our Stroller Strides class, but your little one has a tough first time - use the free week to your advantage and stick with it! Many times our little ones just need a few class to adjust to the idea of being in the stroller for an hour at a time.
*I'm pregnant, can I still attend class?
Yes! We would LOVE it if you did as women greatly benefit from exercising throughout their pregnancies! We do ask that you have your doctor complete and return the Stroller Strides Physician Approval Form found at the bottom of this page. This is extremely important as you should ALWAYS consult with your doctor prior to beginning any exercise program.
